I'm a big Mad Men fan, and I found out from the latest episode which is set in 1970 that Sesame Street debuted in that year! And Elmo is still popular as ever, as I have made many Elmo cakes for my customers before. This one is a perfect combo of Elmo & the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake.

I usually try new a new recipe for my boy's birthday. This year it's a Hummingbird cake. This Hummingbird Cake is moist and flavorful with chopped pecans, crushed pineapple, and mashed bananas.

I dare say I'm very proud of this cake and it is one of Loves Desserts' all time classic. 

April Cakes

 This beer barrel cake was requested by some people for their boss. He must be a really nice boss to be getting a cake like this. It was a very heavy chocolate cake, and able to feed many people.

 This chocolate cake was made for a 1 year old boy. Complete with C-3PO, R2D2 & 2 small clone troopers at the side. Not sure who was the biggest star wars fan, the dad or the son, but I assume it was the dad, as is always the case ;-)
